Reading The Map

The center sector is the Deep Core, with the next two rows out considered the Core Worlds. Concentrically out from that are two rows of the Inner Systems and two rows of the Outer Rim. Off the north end of the map is Wild Space- generally unknown and uncharted, make it up as you go.

Originally, each sector was 1 inch by 1.5 inches, stretching out from the center. In this format, hyperspace travel works out to be approximately 60 hours per inch on a trade route, or 70 h/in. off a route (up to the GM's discretion). The trade routes aren't marked so you'll have to use your best judgement for plotting courses and figuring out travel times. Assume a larger network of routes as you head towards the core.
